Frequently Asked
Questions

Everything you need to know before your first session — classes, pricing, location, and what to expect.

Getting Started

Do I need prior yoga experience to join?
Not at all. Most of our members started with no yoga background. Our teachers explain every posture and adapt the practice to where you are. You can walk in on your first day with no preparation — just comfortable clothing.
I’m not flexible at all. Can I still do yoga?
Yes. Flexibility is a result of yoga, not a requirement for it. You don’t need to touch your toes or sit cross-legged to start. The practice builds from wherever your body is today — and you’ll be surprised how quickly that changes with consistency.
Is yoga suitable for men?
Absolutely. Yoga benefits everyone equally — strength, flexibility, stress relief, and breath control are relevant to all. Our membership includes men, women, and people of all ages and backgrounds. There is nothing gender-specific about the practice.
What age groups do you accept?
We welcome members across all age groups — teenagers, working adults, and seniors. The practice adapts to your physical capacity at any age. We have members well into their 60s and 70s who find yoga to be the most sustainable form of movement they have ever practised.
What should I bring to my first session?
Comfortable clothing you can move freely in — that’s all you need to start. Please message us on WhatsApp before your first visit and we will tell you about mats, timings, and anything else you may need.
How soon will I see results?
Most people notice improved sleep and reduced tension within the first 2–3 weeks. Flexibility and strength changes are typically visible within 4–6 weeks of consistent practice. Long-term practitioners report sustained improvements in energy, mood, posture, and overall health. The key variable is consistency, not intensity.

Classes & Disciplines

What disciplines do you teach?
Six disciplines: Asana (posture and movement), Pranayama (breathwork), Dhyana (meditation), Yoga Nidra (yogic sleep / deep relaxation), Philosophy (the yoga tradition and its texts), and Restorative yoga (supported postures for rest and recovery). All six are included in one membership.
Can I choose which disciplines to attend?
Yes. You attend whichever sessions fit your schedule and interests. There is no mandatory sequence. Over time, most members find value in all six — but you start wherever feels right.
Can I attend both morning and evening sessions on the same day?
Yes. Your membership gives you full access to both the morning session (6–11 AM) and the evening session (5–8 PM), six days a week. You can attend one or both, as your schedule allows.
What happens if I miss classes?
There is no penalty for missed sessions. The practice is personal — come as consistently as you can, and the cumulative effect builds over time. We do not track attendance or make you feel guilty for missing a day.

How do I get there from Miyapur Metro Station?
Miyapur Metro Station (Blue Line) is approximately a 5-minute drive from the studio. From the station, head toward Allwyn X Roads — the studio is in the Ratan Deep Complex on that road, second floor. Auto-rickshaws from the station know the Allwyn X Road junction well.
I’m coming from Hafeezpet. What landmark should I use?
Navigate using Dr. B.R. Ambedkar’s Statue on Hafeezpet Road — a well-known intersection in the area. The studio is just off that junction on Allwyn X Road. Hafeezpet Lake Walking Park is also a nearby reference point.
I’m coming from Madinaguda. How do I find the studio?
From Madinaguda, use the Gandhi Statue, Madinaguda as your starting reference and head toward Allwyn X Road. You will also pass the Abhaya Anjaneya Temple on the way. The studio is just a few minutes east of central Madinaguda.

Health & Medical Conditions

Is yoga safe if I have a medical condition?
Yoga is generally very safe and is often recommended as a complementary practice for many conditions. We ask that you inform your teacher about any medical conditions, injuries, or medications before your first session. We adapt the practice accordingly and will tell you honestly if there is anything to avoid or be careful with.
Can yoga help with back pain, PCOS, diabetes, or thyroid conditions?
Yes — yoga has strong evidence for supporting all of these conditions as a complementary practice. We have dedicated pages on back and neck pain, PCOD/PCOS, diabetes, thyroid health, weight management, and stress relief explaining how the practice helps each condition. You are also welcome to message us directly to discuss your specific situation.
Is yoga suitable for seniors?
Yes. Yoga is one of the most accessible and sustainable practices for older adults. It builds strength and flexibility without joint impact, improves balance, and reduces the risk of falls. The practice adapts fully to current physical capacity — there is no version of “too old to start.”
Can I practise yoga during pregnancy?
Yoga can be very beneficial during pregnancy, but certain postures need to be modified or avoided at different stages. If you are pregnant, please consult your doctor first and inform your teacher before your session. We will adapt the practice to ensure it is safe and supportive for you.
