Setu Yoga Studio is rooted in the classical Indian tradition. Our Yogacharya, Arroju Sreenivasulu, has 32 years of practice and teaching experience, holds YCB (Yoga Certification Board of India) certification, and integrates naturopathy and acupuncture into therapeutic guidance. His approach treats the whole person — not just the symptom, and not just the posture.

Yoga Nidra

You need only a mat, comfortable clothes, and a quiet space. For pranayama and meditation sessions, even the mat is optional — a clean floor or firm chair works fine.

Sessions are one-on-one via Zoom or Google Meet. After you contact us on WhatsApp, we schedule a free 15-minute conversation to understand your health background, goals, and availability. Your first paid session is then arranged at a time that suits your time zone. Everything is personalised — this is not a recorded class or a group call.
What conditions can be addressed in online yoga sessions?
Most of the conditions we address in our Hyderabad studio can be worked with online: back and neck pain, stress and anxiety, PCOD/PCOS, diabetes management support, thyroid function support, high blood pressure, prenatal and postnatal yoga, weight management, and general therapeutic yoga. The approach is adapted to your situation.
Do I need any equipment for online yoga?
A yoga mat, comfortable clothing, and a quiet space with enough room to extend your arms and legs. A stable internet connection and a device with a camera (laptop, tablet, or phone). No special props are required to start — we work with what you have and suggest additions only if genuinely useful.
What time zones do you accommodate?
We accommodate all time zones for scheduled one-on-one sessions. We are based in India (IST, UTC+5:30) and schedule sessions in early morning and evening hours to overlap with USA, UK, Australia, Middle East, and Southeast Asian time zones. Contact us with your time zone and preferred slot.
Is an online session as effective as in-person?
For therapeutic yoga — particularly pranayama, meditation, and condition-specific practice — online sessions are highly effective. The personalised, one-on-one format means you receive more focused guidance than in a studio group class. For asana-intensive practice, in-person is generally better for alignment feedback, but for most therapeutic goals the online format works very well.
